Using gypsum for a conditioner is very simple to add to your bedding routine. All it takes is a cup or two of our product per stall to be able to benefit from the many great effects of gypsum.
Gypsum stays in suspension in slurry tanks and in pits keeping your pumps and equipment safe.
Whether it's adding directly to the bottom of stalls and using traditional bedding products on top or pre-mixing gypsum with bedding. Both allow you to gain access to the numerous benefits that gypsum has to offer!

HOW DO I APPLY GYPSUM?
Gypsum is unique in that it acts as both a soil amendment, improving soil structure and a fertilizer, adding calcium and sulfate. Depending on which of these benefits you may be after, we'll help you determine the application rates.
When looking to improve soil structure, application rates will be somewhere between 1500 and 2500 lbs/acre loosening the soil for better air, water and nutrient penetration.
When adding gypsum as a fertilizer application rates vary from 300 to 700 lbs/acre. These rates depend on soil needs, particular crop uptake and time of year.

These application rates are merely guidelines for typical situations. Ask your local Agronomist about the benefits of calcium and sulfate found in gypsum.
